I completely understand the idea of two conflicting emotions coexisting and think you’ve explained your experience of it in a way that really makes sense. I also fully appreciate that your choices (and any of our choices) don’t need to make sense to anyone else and it’s really refreshing to see that laid out so clearly.

Wishing all of you the best with the move. What a lovely legacy the vegetable patch will be for the new people and you can take all of your learnings to the new place. Living by the sea is an absolute dream of mine so I am really happy you all get to live that.

Looking forward to the meditations coming up and thanks for sharing x

Thank you for this newsletter that resonate so much with me right now. We are a French family and decided to move back to France during the summer after living 12 years in Canada. We have left everything and now trying to navigate the uncertainty of this return, settling in a new home, finding new job for me and trying to make it work with 2 very young kids. I’m also an anxious person and I know I always imagine the worst case scenario , so really resonate when you talk about trying to grow vs leaving out of fear. I’m sure you’re making the right move for the long term, I hope we are too and that at some point it will feel more obvious!
