Love this Ella! Similar to your question of “how could this feel a little softer?”, I’ve been asking myself, “how can I make this easier?” In life of course there are definitely hard things but there are some things that my mind as an overthinker makes unintentionally hard, and so to combat that, I ask myself how can I make this easier 💗 It really has been helping!
Lovely read, thank you Ella! I also loved I may be wrong, and would just like to add: if anyone haven't heard the interview with Bjørn Lindeblad did on Fearne cottons Happy place podcast - I highly recommend it! It's a wonderfully inspiring addition to his book ❤️
I really appreciate this and love the encouragement to a more present, mindful and slower pace.
I'm currently on a career hiatus and have been pondering where the need to constantly stay busy comes from?
I, too, signed up for a mindfulness course which is teaching me to appreciate doing nothing, slowing down, noticing nature around me.
Apologies for the self promotional link here, I want to share something I wrote in relation to this, except for me the doing nothing has turned into an identity crisis, begging the question "Who am I if I'm not busy?"
Thank you for sharing this! I love your content more and more and I feel very similar this year - less is more, appreciation and enjoying little moments. 🩷
I love how all of your advice really is universally accessible and doesn’t require shelling out hundreds of dollars. You are an inspiration and I really appreciate the advice and just allowing yourself to slow down and appreciate the little things! 💚
Wanting to slow down and appreciate what we have in this moment feels essential to me also. Letting go of how we imagined our lives would turn out and observe what is there instead. Breathing. Holding space for the preciousness of now and its sweetness.
Really felt touched by this today. Living in the moment is so important and I love seeing people embracing it. I’ve never been good at it but now I have a bad cancer I seem to be better. All you can really say is that this moment today is going to be good and go from there. Lovely xxx
This is such a genuinely lovely read, Ella! Thank you. I think there are some gently thought provoking nuggets of wisdom in here that can be lovingly applied to everyone. I will be using those questions as I also try so slow down. 💖🫶🏼
Love this 💜 can you share a bit more on your exercise routines? It often feels overwhelming to me

Love this, would you mind sharing which mindfulness stress reducing course you did please? X

Love the list you've got, and guess what, we have a yellow wall in our bathroom as well. It's so cheerful!
Writing from Lyon, France, and today it's reaching 17 degrees out. I can't wait for spring!
Great read! I’m 20 weeks pregnant and I’m calling my little girl Ella. It’s such a beautiful name ❤️

Thank you! This really resonates with me today.
How often do you recommend to do yoga in a week ?
